3 words to describe yourself

How long have you been with us?

1  Year

Her Story…

What did you do prior to joining us?

“I was a Teaching Assistant and I also worked for the RSPB in both their shop and at a Nature Reserve”

Do you have another job or responsibility that runs alongside your role at Class Of Their Own?

“I have just recently taken on a Teaching Assistant role at a Primary School”

What do you do in your spare time?

“In my spare time I like to spend time with my son, going to the cinema, local markets or swimming”

Do you have hobbies/interests that run alongside your role at Class Of Their Own?

“My hobbies are all about nature. I love going on long walks looking for birds and butterflies etc. I am also currently studying British Sign Language to improve my communication skills to ensure that everyone can be included in a conversation.”

What made you want to join Class Of Their Own?

I enjoy working with children and what a fantastic opportunity Class Of Their Own gave me, to focus on all the fun things of play! The flexibility of the hours also gives me time to do other things during the day and then I get paid to go and play for 3hrs…what more could you ask for!”

What is your favourite part of the job and why?

“My favourite part is when parents arrive to pick up their children and they don’t want to leave, desperately trying to get another 5mins of play. This always puts a smile on my face”

Would you recommend Class Of Their Own to others? If so, why?

“I would definitely recommend it! As a company they are always striving to be better. There are opportunities for further training and lots of different courses available. As a single parent I get the opportunity to spend quality time with my family whilst also working”
