How have you changed/developed since being at Class Of Their Own?
“There are always training opportunities and through this I have gained confidence in staff management. We’re always kept up to date with all the latest changes in legislation and this supports any work within the childcare sector. Getting positive feedback from your colleagues is a real boost – helps keep you young and energetic!”
What is your favourite part of the job and why?
I love seeing young people ‘figuring it out for themselves’. We have a wonderful opportunity to help young people learn new skills – making friendships, building self-esteem, improving at sport/reading/drawing, talking to adults – just gaining confidence in themselves in all aspects of life. It is also great to see colleagues gaining new skills and confidence too!
Would you recommend Class Of Their? If so, why?
Absolutely! It’s a great place to work, we celebrate diversity throughout (staff and children). We have lots of fun and we create a nurturing and supportive community both in and out of the workplace.
